When I found Pilates in 2004 I immediately fell in love - this was something I could do.  I could listen to the instructor and understand exactly what I had to do; I didn't even have to look at them.  The mental component is just as important to me as the physical. Pilates laid the foundation that gave me the confidence to try CrossFit in 2014. CrossFit shifted my perception about what fitness is and the different kinds of ways we can train the body. It inspired me to become a CrossFit trainer so that I could share the gift of fitness with others - especially those recovering from alcoholism & addiction.
